In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month more than 40 parents, community members and administrators cleaned, painted and decorated teacher lounges.

Here are a few examples of ecstatic feedback from teachers and school staff:

“I just have to tell you I really feel appreciated. I almost feel like I work in the corporate world it is so fancy,” - Dr. James-Barone, Francisco Middle School teacher.

“What an amazing job you did with the teacher's workroom/lounge! It looks like someone might actually relax for a minute or two in there. I can't believe that all of it got done over the weekend - you are terrific!” - Kathy, Willie Brown ES health educator.

“Thanks a lot, for organized the Teacher Lounge beautification at our school. It looks amazing,” - Violeta Garcia, Monroe ES parent liaison.

"This is more comfortable than my living room,” - Horace Mann Middle School teacher.

“The colors really turned out great!” - Principal Raymond Isola, Sanchez Elementary.
